After leaving Earth, Aurora and the others travel to planet Gorlock. On the surface, they refresh themselves at a local village and meet Lee, one of April's childhood friends. He accompanies the kids to the council meeting with the rebel allies, a surprising group of criminals that includes several of Jimmy's oldest enemies and April's fiancée, Nav Aksha'at.. Aurora's plan to gain their support goes horribly awry, however, and she is left with the knowledge that she will have to face the Dictator alone. Emotionally distraught at the prospect, Aurora breaks down in front of Future Libby and reveals her deepest fears for the future. Will their tiny group of desperadoes really be able to defeat the most powerful man in the galaxy? Will Future Libby ever be reunited with Future Sheen? And will they all be able to survive the ordeal ahead?...Because after all, the first rule of war is very simple: someone always dies.
